The Emgo 40-15860 switch is for the CX-500 CDI bikes. I seem to recall the 650 was a TI ignition. Not sure if anyone has trouble with the Emgo switches on here. The CB750 and CB550 bikes tend to burn them up. Several have put in relays to handle the power to the coils with the switch only turning on the ignition circuit.
